Those are just some of the words used to describe Kristy Arnett, one of the few amateurs at the table in this season of Poker Night in America. A self-described tomboy from Michigan, after college she moved out to Las Vegas and started out as a poker writer.
Through her work first at Card Player Magazine and Pokernews.com, she actually met and interviewed the very players she was playing against on the show. Over the past few years, she’s covered all the major news in the poker world and interviewed some of the biggest names in the games. She has honed her poker skills over the years and as episode 3 shows us, those skills are pretty good. Aside from playing with the people she’s written about over the years, she used Poker Night in America improve her game and show the world that she’s here to play.
